'FIRST DO NO HARM'

These are the first words written in my first post to Four And Twenty Dead Crows on July 26, 2024.

I went on to write

‘The ’do no harm’ principle is one of the ethical cornerstones for medical professionals working within the NHS and can be interpreted in two ways, the first being as errors as an act of omission and the second as being as errors as an act of commission. I will demonstrate through the telling of my story that both my daughter and I were harmed according to both interpretations of this aphorism.’

Both my daughter and I continue to be harmed as a direct consequence of acts of omission and commission by two NHS healthcare Trusts.

Ground Zero of our continued pain and suffering is CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke.

This instalment of Latest Issues details the current status of our mental health and the progress of the various complaints made to regulatory bodies and to local police who have become involved.

I am about to escalate action in order to bring those responsible for clinical neglect and dishonesty to account. I am determined to make a national story out of the dreadful and harrowing experiences that my daughter and I have been forced to endure. More news on that next week.

In the meantime I am inviting readers to my blog to contact me with their own stories about mental health services in Basingstoke. If anyone else has negative experiences while seeking access to mental health services across the borough or have been frustrated by the PALS complaints process or with the services provided by the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman and wants to share those experiences with me then please contact me at this designated email address

mark@markstock.co.uk

I will treat any correspondence in confidence unless I have strict permission to share.

CURRENT STATUS OF

MEG

My daughter, Meg, is still suffering from the consequences of particularly difficult OCD. One of her most extreme rituals has resulted in inadvertent self-harm to her right ear. She had her ear cut, drained, stitched, re-cut, drained and stitched again at hospital over the course of the last two weeks. This morning she opened up the wound again due to a continuation of her extreme OCD ritual. She is at real risk of losing part of her ear. The pain and suffering that Meg currently endures was likely preventable. Had clinicians attended to her mental health issues competently, following internal protocols and NICE guidelines, then her mental health would never had deteriorated and she would likely have made a full recovery a long time ago. Ground Zero of clinical neglect is CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke.

ME

I am still a patient at CMHT The Bridge Centre and still suffering poor mental health, especially from symptoms of Complex PTSD and enduring suicidal ideation. Ground Zero of clinical neglect is CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS POLICE

Earlier today I forwarded a complaint to Professional Standards Police. That complaint is copied and pasted below. In summary, the complaint refers to the Joint Information Management Unit of Hampshire and IOW Constabulary and their refusal to comply with my recent ‘right to records’ request. That refusal is embedded in a long history of grievances against Hampshire Police. Ground Zero of those grievances is CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke.

INFORMATION COMMISSIONERS OFFICE

Following advice I took my complaint about the Joint Information Management Unit of Hampshire and IOW Constabulary to the Information Commissioners Office, asking that they overturn the refusal to comply with my recent ‘right to records’ request. The ICO replied, informing me that I should expect a 29 WEEK wait before an ICO caseworker could be allocated to my complaint. Ground Zero of that complaint is CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke.

HAMPSHIRE CONSTABULARY

Hampshire Constabulary continue to refuse to remove false, discriminatory and psychologically damaging information about me from their database. I am still recorded under a ‘Category 2 heading of Violent & Sexual Offences’ under sub-headings of ‘stalking/harassment’ and those records will remain on their database for at least 10 years because I sent a healthcare professional a letter asking for help in understanding what had gone wrong in therapy, why I had been given the wrong type of therapy and why they and their clinical cohorts lied about me and misrepresented me. That ‘contact’ letter was sent following advisements set out in the ‘standards of conduct, performance and ethics’ of the Health and Care Professions Council, the regulatory body to which that healthcare professional belongs. Ground Zero of this issue is CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke.

PHSO

The Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman has finally initiated an investigation into my daughter’s complaint about CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke over THREE YEARS after my initial complaint was filed

PHSO

The Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman, under pressure from my local MP, finally reopened my own complaint against CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke, THREE YEARS after my initial complaint. I am currently awaiting allocation of a caseworker to consider the FULL SCOPE of my original complaint.

The HCPC

I received the following email from Dovlet Seyidov of the Health and Care Professionals Council on the 21st August, 2025 but I am still waiting for the update promised by the 4th September, 2025 latest.

From: FTP ********************Sent: Thursday, August 21, 2025 8:58 AMTo: HCPC Feedback ********************; *******************************Subject:  HCPC Communication *********

Dear Mark Stock,

I hope you are well.

My name is Dovlet Seyidov and I am Case Team Manager here at HCPC. I wanted to email you following your email to Claire, the Case Manager in which you stated you were protesting in Central London due to HCPC's refusal to investigate the full scope of your complaints. I want to assure you that we take your complaint seriously.

Therefore, I am treating your email as a corporate complaint and I will be looking to provide a response to your complaint within the next 15 working days but I will aim to do so earlier if possible.

Thank you for your patience.

Kind regards

Dovlet Seyidov
