MY NEW CAMPAIGN
For as long as the Health and Care Professions Council refuse to investigate the full scope of my complaint against their registrant, Sally Mungall I will continue to SHOUT.
For as long as the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman refuse to investigate the full scope of my complaint against CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke I will continue to SHOUT.
For as long as Hampshire Constabulary refuse to remove false, discriminatory and psychologically damaging records in my name from their database I will continue to SHOUT.
My attempts to hold individuals and institutions to account, including pro-socially through the formal complaints procedures of NHS Patient Advice Liaison Services and various regulatory bodies and also by way of hunger strikes and protests in central London, have been resisted with derision, cynicism and contempt. Indeed, my lawful right to protest and freedom of expression were recently undermined by a referral to the governments counter-terrorism initiative, Prevent.
On the 24th June, 2025, I staged a theatrical protest outside the Houses of Parliament, Downing Street and Horse Guards in Whitehall and Trafalgar Square. The protest, which was designed to increase the size of readership to my blog here at www.fourandtwentydeadcrows.com in anticipation of further hunger strikes, attracted a lot of tourist attention on the day. While I am continually surprised that people are regularly logging into my blog and my various other social media accounts from countries as far afield as Australia, Turkey, Mexico and the United States, I felt the need to grow my audience from hundreds to hundreds of thousands and, hopefully millions. My plan to continue protest by way of further hunger strikes would have carried more political weight if observed in real time by hundreds of thousands of people from around the world.
But hunger strikes and demonstrations have come at personal cost, not only to me but to my mentally ill daughter, Meg.
While I remain steadfastly committed to my cause, I must now be mindful of protecting my daughter. I cannot risk derailing Meg as she works through the most delicate stage of her current psychotherapy. It has been mutually agreed between Meg, her current therapist and me that I need to avoid the risk of arrest by police while demonstrating and avoid the risk to health and life while on hunger strike, at least in the short term.
I have always stuck to my own strict code of conduct like Superglue, adhering to the values and principles of truth, accuracy and facts while writing my blog posts and have always been honest with my words, advising the reader when I have strayed into the domain of speculation, bias or subjectivity. My new campaign will adopt a more creative approach, using lampoon and satire, to present an entertaining account of my experiences with mental health services and other institutions, using humour, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize malpractice, incompetence and stupidity.
My new campaign is designed to appeal to a broad audience across a huge range of online publishing platforms across the world. My lofty ambition is to create an alternate graphic universe that will have the tone of Private Eye, the humour of Viz and the draughtsmanship of Bill Watterson. I will likely fall short, especially with the drawing but, in the words of Bruce Lee, ‘It’s like a finger pointing to the moon. Don’t point the finger. Give the finger.’ Okay. Those aren’t exactly Bruce Lee’s words but you’ll get my POINT when I unveil my new campaign before the end of October.
IN THE MEANTIME, HERE IS A SUMMARY OF THE LATEST OUTSTANDING ISSUES
HAMPSHIRE CONSTABULARY
Records are being held by Hampshire Constabulary under my name that falsely accuse me of ‘stalking and harassment’ after I was erroneously reported for making ‘unwanted contact’ with a healthcare worker. Those records are currently being retained for at least 10 years and quite possibly until I die, under a ‘Category 2’ heading of ‘Violent & Sexual Offences’, because I am now deemed a ‘risk to the public’.
I no longer expect Hampshire Constabulary to remove false, discriminatory and psychologically damaging records under my name from their database. Those records will now always interfere with future employment opportunities that require enhanced DBS checks and cast an ominous shadow over my good reputation while attempting to form new relationships, stigmatizing me and diminishing me as a human being, likely for the rest of my life.
For as long as those false, discriminatory and psychologically damaging records are retained by Hampshire Constabulary then I will continue to SHOUT about this.
Records are also now being held under my name that confirm that I was referred to Prevent. That case has since been closed but it is unlikely that Hampshire Constabulary will remove those records. They have actually denied my access to those records and I have issued another complaint, challenging the refusal to disclose records, which is now being reviewed.
THE HEALTH AND CARE PROFESSIONS COUNCIL
The HCPC has repeatedly refused to investigate the FULL scope of my ‘fitness to practice’ complaint against their registrant, Sally Mungall. I have been informed that the Senior Decision Maker has only approved part of my complaint to be forwarded to their Investigation Panel.
I sent a complaint via email to Dovlet Seyidov, Case Team Manager at the Health and Care Professions Council on the 12th September, 2025. I also poured doubt on the case suggesting that the HCPC had not accessed ALL the evidence presented by me. Clinicians and leadership at CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke and the wider Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust had stalled and obstructed both the HCPC AND me in investigating the serious issues concerning Sally Mungall. I had been forced to present evidence piecemeal over the course of many, many months and I believe that much of that evidence has been mislaid by the HCPC.
I am still awaiting a response to my complaint.
THE PARLIAMENTARY HEALTH SERVICE OMBUDSMAN
The PHSO had repeatedly refused to investigate the full scope of my complaints against CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke and the wider Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
I enlisted the support of Basingstoke MP, Luke Murphy, who recently wrote to the PHSO to express his concerns. I believe it was Luke Murphy’s intervention that prompted the PHSO to reconsider the full scope of my complaints. I was informed, by email, on the 13th August, 2025, that ‘Your case (********* ) has been assigned a caseworker.
I am currently awaiting an update.
SOUTHERN HEALTH NHS FOUNDATION TRUST
1) REFERRAL TO PREVENT
I have issued a formal complaint to the Trust following the referral of me to the government’s counter-terrorism, Prevent. That complaint was acknowledged by the Trust on the 15th September, 2056 and allocated a case number.
I had also requested access to my medical records so that I might establish the facts around the referral to Prevent to support my formal complaint. While all of my medical records were disclosed, records of the involvement of the Safeguarding Board of the Trust were not. I have now requested all remaining records wherever they exist.
2) INACCURACIES AND MISREPRESENTATION
While investigating the Prevent referral I discovered misrepresentations, false allegations and omissions in my medical records. I have requested further information and asked for an informal investigation to be carried out by the newly appointed Head of Nursing at CMHT, Joe Jackson before I decide on what further action to take.
AND FINALLY
I have loose plans to make a summary of the first two chapters of my blog, making contents pages for both 'Four and Twenty Dead Crows' and 'A Murder of Conspirators', for reader ease in accessing information. This follows a suggestion from one of my readers.
I will commence posting to 'Just Caws', the third chapter of Four and Twenty Dead Crows, on Wednesday 15th October.
The first post will deal with Hampshire Constabulary and their role in a truly astounding case of mistaken identity. The second post addresses the disturbing revelation following the release of more of Sally Mungall's session notes taken during her therapy work with me in 2021.
