Welcome back to my blog here at Four and Twenty Dead Crows and the first post of LATEST ISSUES for 2026. The Christmas holiday delivered a much needed distraction following another extremely stressful twelve months.

My effort to hold individuals and institutions to account for clinical neglect, misrepresentation, false criminal allegation and potential corruption continues unabated.

The statutory regulatory bodies responsible for protecting the public by regulating health and care professions and the Crown appointed Ombudsman charged with the responsibility for considering complaints by the public about the NHS continue to fall short of reasonable expectations.

This time last year I forwarded another in a series of ‘Open Letters’ to a toilet roll length list of recipients including clinical staff at CMHT, The Bridge Centre, the local MP for Basingstoke, representatives of the Health and Care Professions Council, the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman, the Home Secretary, the Secretary of State and the former Chief Inspector of Hampshire Police, Scott Johnson. That particular ‘Open Letter’ announced the start of a third hunger strike in protest of the systemic failures by regulatory bodies and the Ombudsman and  the refusal by Hampshire Constabulary to remove false, defamatory and psychologically damaging information about me from their database.

Chief Inspector of Hampshire Police, Scott Johnson didn’t think my grievances warranted attention and refused to engage with me. He discussed me in emailed correspondence with former Head of Nursing, Gemma Stubbington, but refused consent to share his emails with me. Ex-Chief Inspector of Hampshire Police, Scott Johnson apparently gives net zero fucks about transparency or my serious grievances.

On the 30th April, 2025 I forwarded another ‘Open Letter’, more or less to the same people, expressing my frustration at the lack of movement by Hampshire Police. I outlined plans to escalate my protest and to raise widespread public awareness of my struggle to hold individuals and institutions to account by way of a series of theatrical stunts to begin in and around significant locations in London including the Houses of Parliament, Downing Street, the Home Office, the Ministry of Justice and various news media addresses including the BBC. I reminded all concerned that I had been cynically and vexatiously reported to Hampshire Constabulary by those working at CAMHS, Bramblys Drive, Basingstoke and the wider Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. I had been falsely accused of serious offences by Hampshire Constabulary and following spurious allegations and damaged in the process. I had also been failed, repeatedly, by those regulatory bodies, ombudsman and politicians whose job it is to protect the public.

And then on the afternoon of the 18th June I received notification that I had been referred to PREVENT, the government's anti-terrorism strategy. The referral to the government’s counter-terrorism initiative was made in response to my intention to protest as announced in my ‘Open Letter’ dated the 30th April, 2025. It was with sadness and an overwhelming sense of betrayal that I learned the referrer was none other than Gemma Stubbington, the Head of Nursing at CMHT, The Bridge Centre. Gemma had been one of the few healthcare professionals that I actually trusted. That betrayal was felt like an oily knife in my back and left me with an unshakable belief that I can no longer trust ANYONE!

The referral to PREVENT was farcical, the suggestion that I might be a terrorist, ludicrous.

The referral to PREVENT was processed and actioned with zealous expediency but MY efforts to hold Gemma Stubbington, the Safeguarding Board within Hampshire and IOW Healthcare Trust and the police to account for their reckless actions has been cynically obstructed.

In the meantime my means to protest by way of hunger strike has been, temporarily, rendered impotent. My daughter, Meg, was finally, after SEVEN YEARS waiting, given access to the specific psychotherapy needed to address her serious and debilitating mental health issues. Following a meeting in August with Meg’s current psychotherapist, it was mutually agreed that I would postpone all protests including hunger strikes. My dogged persistence in high profile protest and life-threatening hunger strikes was seriously interfering with Meg’s mental health recovery.

Over the last few months I have been devising a new strategy designed to raise public awareness of my cause. The account of my journey through mental health services in Basingstoke while advocating on behalf of my mentally ill daughter is in the public interest and I need to redouble my efforts to bring my story before a national audience.

Before I can go ahead with my new campaign I need to complete my latest comprehensive submission of evidence to the Health and Care Professions Council with reference to the ‘Fitness to Practice’ complaint against Sally Mungall. I have just completed a 19-page summary of my ‘art therapy’ with Sally Mungall and posted yesterday. I am considering publishing that summary, in full, here at 'Four and Twenty Dead Crows' in the next few weeks. I have one final addendum to complete and forward to the HCPC by the 19th January, latest.

I will also be compiling a comprehensive legal document detailing my objection to the recent referral of me to PREVENT to put to lawyers before the end of this month. I will seek legal advice before publishing to my blog.

In the meantime I need to make formal complaints about Jason Russell of Public Access Joint Information Management  Unit  of the police and his incompetent handling of Subject Access Requests over the last six months. Complaints about Jason Russell need to be lodged with multiple agencies.

I also need to make formal complaints about Joe Jackson, current Head of Nursing at CMHT, The Bridge Centre and his handling of my complaints last year. I am still waiting for the results of his investigation on three points of complaint raised by me.

Finally, I will endeavour to publish previews of my new campaign over the next few weeks. I will, of course, continue with regular posts continuing the ‘JUST CAWS’ chapter of my story. I will probably republish the first two parts of my ‘THEORY OF EVERYTHING’ as it was interrupted by developments surrounding the PREVEBNT referral and the necessity to provide the HCPC with a resubmission of evidence.

Please keep reading and share widely. 2026 could prove to be the turning point in my efforts to hold individuals and institutions to account and, in the process, clear a wide open opportunity to recover my own mental health and deserved sense of safety and wellbeing.
